I know that things happen over the years. Losing your senior yearbook can happen to the best of us. Whatever the issue was ... a fire, water damage or lost boxes during a move ... It is hard to replace those memories from the book. I have scanned the senior section from our class of ’89 yearbook for anyone to have. Below you will find the link for a zipped copy of the senior section in PDF form. I’m warning you ahead of time here ... it is a 50MB file. Here it is in all it’s glory!

I hate that this is the first post ... but as some of you may have heard, a fellow classmate has passed away. Our prayers go out to his wife, Mary Anne Grubbs Davis as well as the rest of his family. Below you will find the reprint from the Gainesville Sun.

Lake Bulter - Kelly Dewight Davis 39, of Lake Butler Passed away suddenly from injuries suffered in a truck accident Wednesday morning. He was born in Gainesville, where he lived most of his life in Alachua and Union County. He moved to Lake Butler four years ago. He graduated from Santa Fe High. School in 1989. He was a produce farmer. He enjoyed Hunting and fishing. He was a member of the Oak Dale Baptist Church in Jonesville.

He is survived by his loving wife of 14 years; Mary Ann Grubb Davis. His Daughter: Audrey Lynn Davis of Lake Butler. His son: Hayden. Hoss Davis of Lake Butler. His parents: Dwight and Linda Langford Davis of Alachua. His Brother: Kenneth B. Davis of Alachua.

Funeral services will be held Sunday December 14, 2008 at 2:30P.M. in the North Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with Rev. James Taylor and Rev. Edwin Gardner officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery under the care of Archer Funeral Home of Lake Butler, FL. Family will receive friends at the funeral Home, Saturday evening from 6 to 8P.M. Family request that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Davis Childrens Trust Fund; Community State Bank 255 S.E. 6th St. Lake Butler, Fl. 32654.
